House of an Art Collector | by Ledbetter Fullerton Architect

interior.jpg

Today, the residence is designed by the architects and Ledbetter Fullerton is in New Orleans, LA.The owner of the house, a collection of art requested that the interior be designed to highlight an extraordinary collection of art while not feeling like a museum. A neutral color palette for fabrics, carpets, drapes, and wood panel has been chosen to create a warm environment for the collection of several hundred photographs and paintings. Every attempt was made to combine with European antique furniture in each room, noting that the backdrop for art is a comfortable home.
