The Dunes And The Duchess

Don't you guys love showhouses?? They're always so fun, filled with inspiration. This particular library designed by Patricia LaPierre of Greenwich Design Architects was in the Shippan Designer Showhouse. The space was styled by Stacy Kunstel and photographed by Michael Partenio. The talented duo actually started their own company last fall called Dunes and Duchess. They create the most amazing, giant candelabras and lamps in the coolest colors. (You can see more here...love all those photos!) If you happen to be going to the NYIGF next week, stop by and check out some of their new stuff. (And say hi to them for me for me!) Ooh and Stacy is one of the speakers at the Design Bloggers Conference! I am getting so excited for that!

Eric Staudenmaier

Last month Desire to Inspire featured work by the super-talented photographer Eric Staudenmaier. You have to check out his online portfolio because these images are just scratching the surface of his talent. Not only does he take some amazing architectural and residential photos, but you shouldn't miss his personal photos either. I am seriously loving the library above. Those shelves are something else, and hello, the chandelier?! LOVE.
