Kristina de Atucha Interior Design

Oh my word, this home! If you love contemporary, clean spaces, you don't want to miss out on this Boulder home featured in Colorado Homes & Lifestyles designed by Kristina de Atucha Interior Design. Seriously, these two images don't do it justice! But I LOOOVE them! I'm such a sucker for Schumacher & Co.’s aquamarine Chiang Mai Dragon, it never gets old. And this bedroom...what an escape! Those windows are fabulous! See the rest of the home here!

Brandon Barré

I've shared this heavenly bathroom designed by Candice Olson before, but when I discovered the corresponding bedroom in the portfolio of Toront0-based Brandon Barré I was delighted! What a beautiful, cozy cove! It would be such a luxury to have a wall like that, opening up to a private deck. Then to have such an amazing bathroom in the other direction?! Dream space!!!

Sunny Yellow Cottage

Now and the summer sun, courtesy of Home Life magazine! This small hut near Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, could not be nicer. The owner chose a palette of yellow and green to reflect the light of summer and fill the room with heat and used turquoise as the perfect accent. I loved your tips for decorating on a budget: Be patient. She has been collecting these beautiful dishes with turquoise stripes Carrigaline, Cork, Ireland for over 10 years ... and never pay more than $ 1 each. That's how I like it!

Candace Rose Giveaway!

I love this saturated space photographed by Magnus Anesund so much. The styling is awesome...the shade of turquoise on the wall next to the blues and yellow makes for such a stunning image!!

Speaking of stunning image, I'm so excited for today's giveaway, courtesy of my friend, fellow blogger, and photographer Candace Rose. I can't believe it, but two years ago today she opened up her etsy shop! To celebrate she is giving one lucky House of Turquoise reader an 8 x 10 photography print tilted "Turquoise Sunflower". As much as I love all of her photography, this one continually remains a favorite. (I actually have it hanging on my office wall and get to enjoy it all day long!) You'll definitely want to check out her work, she has an amazing talent for floral, nature and pet photography. Oh, and her blog is super fun too...one of my daily reads!

To enter:
  • Visit the Candace Rose Etsy shop or ArtFire shop and leave a comment below with your favorite print.
  • Please make sure your email is included in your comment if you don't have a blog!
  • Winner will be randomly selected and announced Friday morning.
Good luck!

Giveaway is now closed. Tyler of Tyler's Taste Tests was the winner!

Little P's Robin's Nest

When Black. White. Yellow. featured this amazing nursery from Ohdeedoh, I knew I'd have to share it with you guys (and that I'd also be bookmarking it for future reference). I was excited to discover that the nursery was created by an adorable mom-to-be named Megan who has 2 blogs, Megan Creates and Me and Wee, in addition to an Etsy store. Busy bee! I just love the cheery color combo she used here for her baby-on-the-way Little P. The wall color is Benjamin Moore #618 Robin's Nest, and it looks perfect next to all the pretty yellow. Aren't the wicker elephant hamper and the "hooray" banner just the cutest things ever?!

Ready for Spring!

I am finally back!!! My vacation was fantastic...hence me not having the time to post anything while I was away! I left Minneapolis right after a big snow storm, and came home just in time for another one yesterday. Lucky me. At least I had a vacation full of sun! The only bummer is that I caught a bad cold the last couple days of the trip, which made for a terrible flight home. But I'm all rested up and ready to go!

This bright kitchen designed by William Diamond and Anthony Baratta and featured in House Beautiful just screams spring...I cannot help but stare at it on a day like today. Love, love, love the colors, the custom-made island and those fun 1960's Italian lamps.

Greystone Mansion

I love this dreamy bedroom featured in the latest issue of Veranda. It is from the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, which was the venue for Veranda's California Designers' Show House. I still haven't seen the issue, but I hear there are lots more gorgeous rooms to see! Thanks Anita! :)

Always a Sunny Day

How entirely cheery is this bedroom that Ez of Creature Comforts designed for her 10 year-old daughter (check out her post for more pictures, and awesome references to everything). I LOVE the aqua mirror, an old gilded one that Ez spraypainted. I was so inspired yesterday from the turquoise and yellow, a combo I'd not yet appreciated, so seeing this room only reinforced that excitement!

Beautiful Girls' Bedroom

This bedroom discovered by Oliveaux is just so beautiful. What lucky girls call this room their own?! The soaring blue walls, pretty pink curtains and beautiful chandelier are all lovely. And I love the mix of prints and colors on the perfectly disheveled bedding too. So cozy and cute!

Cheerful Living

Ok so I pretty much love everything in this image. That funky blue and white fabric on that ottoman/floor pillow glider (what are those called? we had one when I was little...but I want this one!), the colorful throw pillows, the old yellow fun, the turquoise candlestick...it all looks so perfect with that lovely shade of blue on the wall! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend! :) -MarthaStewart.com via Decorology

Breezy Shores Home

Sculptor Elena Colombo created this fantastic getaway home located in the neighborhood of Breezy Shores, a small beach community in Greenport, New York. I love, love love all the color she uses into her little beach home and the unique elements like the red-painted tree stumps! Genius! -Martha Stewart.com

Fresh and Daring

One of my favorite blogs ever Desire to Inspire found this home while "real estate stalking" in Australia. The question was posed if maybe there was a bit too much going on in this house (check out the rest of the images to make up your own mind), but my jaw dropped when I saw this room. I love that shade of turquoise and think it looks stunning with the yellow and white. And to paint the ceiling...so daring!

Timeless David Hicks

The first time I saw this room designed by David Hicks I really didn't like it. But the more I looked at it, the more I liked what I saw. And now I really honestly love everything about it. So timelessly chic. -David Hicks Archives

Modern Nursery

Style Court posted these images from an adorable nursery belonging to event planner Tara Guerard. The modern nursery was designed by the talented South Carolina-based designer Angie Hranowsky. More blue, yellow and aqua action going on here and I love it!! -Style Court
