Armelle Studio

Do you guys remember little Norah's nursery?? One of my ALL-TIME favorites ever?! The design genius behind it and this gorgeous studio is jewelry designer Caroline of Armelle Jewelry. Schumacher's Birds and Butterflies wallpaper is a match made in heaven with her stained concrete floor. (Wouldn't you love to do that in your basement?!) I absolutely adore the white armoire she lovingly painted too, and how the inside is painted Robins Nest by Benjamin Moore to match the floors. Sceneries Armonia

I was instantly smitten with LA-based designer Emily Ruddo of Armonia Decors when I saw her fabulous work popping up on so many of my favorite blogs over the last couple weeks. Like so many of us, Emily gravitates towards blue, and uses the coast and water as inspiration in many of her designs. She is a big fan of creating spaces where people feel harmonious and calm, but more importantly, better about themselves when they are in them. (Love that.) The right blends of color are usually a part of her equation, as you can see from these amazing photos taken by photographer Meghan Beierle-O'Brien. Color Me Happy

Can you guess where this home is?! Just a few minutes walk from the sea in Malmö, Sweden, of course! This Hus & Hem space showcasing a bright white backdrop splashed with a rainbow of color is all sorts of fun. I'm digging the whimsical details like the life-sized animals by artist William Sweetlove, the beautiful glass art, and all the bold fabrics. But most of all I am absolutely in love with all of those rugs!!! See more of this funky, happy home over here!

Dream Workspace

One of the things that excited me when I moved last year was to finally have my own office. I had big dreams for the space ... beautiful and efficient space, colorful and inspiring life. It was about 6 months. From the outset, I received a fabulous new apartment (thanks Dad!), BM beautiful waterfall wall (thanks Chris !)...... Ikea furniture and the remains of my apartment. No art, no curtains, no doorstep. That's my resolution for the new year, fancy my workspace. MyHomeIdeas that would be perfect. They call this the "control center of the family." That's what I call a blogger's dream of turquoise!

Rue and amp; Jessie Zinke

Have you guys checked out issue two of Rue?? So many fabulous spaces, but this vibrant Chelsea loft belonging to lingerie designer Jessie Zinke and photographed by Emily Anderson was my favorite. A collection of pieces she has lovingly acquired over time, everything in her home makes her heart jump. I feel the same way just looking at the photos! The dining room is straight out of my dreams...I'm drooling over the floral fabric on those chairs! For more on this spectacular home, head on over to Rue. Dream Office

Jennifer of The Magic Brush discovered this drool-worthy office belonging to BrooklynLimestone. Other than my obvious love for Benjamin Moore "Waterfall" on the walls, I ADORE the hand painted birds and branches on the window. The Kartell Louis Ghost Chair, desk and zebra rug are just divine as well. And what a genius idea to frame a peg board. I think I discovered my dream office!

Vibrant Office

How fun is the New York office of designer Celerie Kemble?! That bookcase is just divine. Celerie used colors to make the workspace feel vibrant and alive. Success in every way I'd say!

Fixed Point Residence

This Fixed Point Residence designed by Hutker Architects is like a breath of fresh air finished off with a tall glass of lemonade (or Diet Coke, in my case). So spacious and light-filled. I love it! Go here to see even more of this gorgeous home. And have a fantastic weekend everyone!! :)

Maps and More Maps

As a big fan of maps (as well as budget-friendly ideas!), I love how this room was created with only $150 worth of inexpensive maps. This particular room was designed by David H. Perfection.

I instantly fell in love when I finally flipped through my House Beautiful yesterday. I get a lot of energy out of bright colors, but I equally need to be surrounded by calm, serene colors like these. This home designed by Hal Williamson is altogether 100% GORGEOUS. Love love love. Metropolitan Home’s Showtime House

Being a huge fan of Showtime, I thought the Metropolitan Home’s Showtime House was a cool idea. A slew of amazing American designers transformed this NYC townhouse using six Showtime shows as inspiration. Jamie Drake used Californication as his inspiration for the study and the bathroom in these images, while Vicente Wolf’s master bedroom suite comes from the show L Word. The patio by Christopher Myers of Just Terraces and solarium by Lora Barbara Lemon draw inspiration again from Californication. Check out the rest of the rooms from the house here!
